Our purpose
RIGHT.you helps people turn personal constraints into a clear product shortlist. We do not claim that one mortgage, card, insurance policy or account is right for everyone.
What we publish
Our matchers create a shopping brief, not an approval decision. Our guides show calculations, assumptions, edge cases and primary consumer sources. We distinguish general education from individualized financial, legal, tax and insurance advice.
Who is responsible
The RIGHT.you Editorial Team maintains this site. We do not invent expert biographies, product testing or customer experiences. Material financial claims are linked to regulators or other primary sources, and high-impact pages are reviewed when rules or source guidance changes.
How the site is organized
Four product hubs cover mortgages, credit cards, insurance and bank accounts. Each hub links a questionnaire to a small set of decision guides. We add a page only when it solves a separate question; we do not create location or keyword variants.
Editorial responsibility
The RIGHT.you Editorial Team is the named publisher responsible for sourcing, updates and corrections. That label describes an editorial function, not a professional license. When a decision requires individualized legal, tax, investment or insurance judgment, our pages tell readers to use a suitably qualified professional.
How readers can hold us accountable
Every important guide links its source or explains its calculation. Readers can send the exact page, disputed statement and supporting source to the editorial contact. We review material errors before style suggestions and update the content date only when the page changes meaningfully.
What topical authority means here
We cover four connected consumer decisions deeply enough to move from an initial question to a document-level comparison. Each topic center includes a matcher, a decision path, plain-English terms, worked examples, a calculation or checklist and links to primary consumer guidance. We do not publish unrelated trending topics simply to increase page count.
How a page earns publication
A page must solve a separate problem, show the assumptions behind its answer and connect naturally to the next step. If the useful answer belongs inside an existing guide, we improve that guide instead of creating a second URL. This keeps the library understandable for readers and crawlers.
What we are not
RIGHT.you is not a lender, card issuer, insurer, bank, broker or approval service. We do not hold customer funds or submit applications. Our role is to help readers ask better questions, calculate tradeoffs and identify the provider documents that control the decision.
Financial product matching in plain English
Financial product matching connects a person's needs to product features. RIGHT.you’s financial product matching starts with the job the product must do. It then shows which costs, limits and risks need a closer look.
| Reader’s question | What RIGHT.you provides | What it does not provide |
|---|---|---|
| What should I compare? | A short list of features and documents | A paid product ranking |
| How do I test the cost? | A formula, example or worksheet | A live quote or approval |
| What should I do next? | A relevant guide, matcher or primary source | Personal legal, tax or financial advice |
Three promises to readers
- We show the assumption behind a calculation.
- We separate education from provider terms.
- We correct material errors when evidence supports a change.
